Activities at Freshfields

Whenever possible we aim to keep our residents both physically and mentally alert. The Activity Organiser runs a variety of afternoon activities using our two lounges or the dining room. In the spring and summer gardening projects can be undertaken on the spacious patio. The home encourages friends and relatives to share their knowledge and skills. In preparation for the seasonal fairs, craft projects are popular events. A relatives forum helps to organise the seasonal events and speakers are often invited to the home to give talks to relatives and friends. The home has a rabbit named 'Sprocket' and sponsors a donkey at the Donkey Sanctuary.
